I was born in Slovenia ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฎ, a country in Central Europe. It is considered as hidden gem for travelers, as it hosts many eye catching POI that will leave you with lasting memories. Capital city Ljubljana is the city of dragons ๐Ÿ‰, and that is just one of the interesting facts that you will discover when visiting Slovenia.

My parents are more than heroes to me, as they offered me a life with no restrictions and they gave me from an early age a sense that I was always old enough to decide things for myself. The best way to describe my relationship with them is to say that they are like my best friends. They are kind of parents that would organize bbq for the whole neighborhood just for fun. They were and still are highly integrated into my life and lives of some friends that surround me.

Fun fact: My father was once stopped for speeding up on the motorcycle. To policemanโ€™s surprise, he had to charge him an additional ticket for not wearing a helmet, as looking from a far at his hair shape one could easily think he had one ๐Ÿ˜.

Two people that had a high impact on my life are also my 1 year older brother (top left) that is complete oposite of me, but gave me a different perspective on life. And my uncle (bottom right) who would always encourage me to think outside the box. My father and my uncle are also a reason why I developed a love for chess ๐Ÿ˜โ™Ÿ.

Early on I developed an interest into computers that eventually lead into the profession that Iโ€™m now highly passionate about. As I already mentioned, I was always driven towards solving problems and design fulfilled that hunger for me. As a designer youโ€™re always faced with new and interesting challenges that touch different businesses and life in general. One of the big projects I did was an exhibition app in San Francisco for the world known artist JR.

At some point I moved from Slovenia to Berlin, where I teamed up with Matej, one of my best friends. We immediately started working together on some side projects that would quickly lead to some bigger things.

One of them being well know international conference called ADDC for app designers and developers. The conference was hosted for several years in Barcelona, Spain with Google and Amazon as our main sponsors.

Throughout all that time I would develop a passion for travel ๐ŸŒ.

One of them being taking part in one of pastings of French street artist JR who helped the Louvre celebrate the 30th anniversary of its famed glass pyramid by surrounding it with a dramatic optical illusion. Along with 400 volunteers, JR placed 2,000 sheets of paper around the Louvre Pyramid to create the appearance that itโ€™s rising from a rock quarry.

I also became a foodie ๐Ÿ, where whenever I would travel, I would try to explore spots that would offer fresh food experiences ๐Ÿคค.

Eventually everything lead me to Barcelona, where I found my place on earth. It offers me work ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ’ป / life ๐ŸŒด balance that is highly appreciated for my biggest adventure yet, Beams ๐Ÿ˜Š. Storytelling is that one thing that separates us humans from other species on this planet. That said, I canโ€™t wait to see what stories you have to tell ๐Ÿคฉ.

Fun fact: Some friends call me Leo. Thatโ€™s because for the first few years of my life I thought that was actually my original name. When I went to kindergarten my father finally explained to me that my original name is actually Lenart ๐Ÿ˜ฑ. As story goes, my parents didnโ€™t know how to name me, so my father closed his eyes and placed his finger on the Lenart name on a calendar. This is how I got my name, but they decided to find a shorter version for how to call me & Leo was born ๐Ÿค™.
